When I'm not riding: |
I love the outdoors! Whether it’s driving in the middle of nowhere or camping, I’m happiest away from the city. I also love graphic design, photography, art, and spending time with friends and family. |
From a parent's perspective, the three most important thing my child has gained from showing horses are:
Confidence, Patience, and Responsibility - The time and money we put into this sport is well worth it, seeing how it has affected my daughter over the years.

The three most important things I've learned in life from my experience with showing horses
|
-
Commitment -Showing horses takes time and dedication. Growing up, I had to make sacrifices and had to decide what I truly wanted. Deciding between social hour and riding was a difficult decision at a young age. Looking back, I would most definitely do it all over again.
-
Respect - I have learned over the years that in order to succeed, we need to not only respect our trainers and parents, but most of all our horses.
-
Patience -Success isn’t something that can be rushed. Showing horses involves two hearts and two minds, and in order to succeed they must work as one.
