The three most important things I've learned in life from my experience with showing horses
|
-
Dedication: I've been showing/riding for eleven years and sometimes wished I didn't have to give so much of my time, but it seems to always pay off.
-
Patience: I've been through lots of ups/downs ( lame horses, new horses, trainer changes, etc.) that don’t always work perfectly first few times.
-
Confidence: It takes a lot to go into an arena (local or Worlds) and put yourself out there. It's really given be confidence in other aspects of life.

My Youth World Show experience
Pure exhaustion, emotional roller coaster, but we have an amazing support group, always makes the week amazing.
I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to show at this level and be able to showcase what we work so hard to do.
|
How I felt the first time I won a Championship
Pretty amazing! The time and dedication we all put into this sport really pays off when you hear your name announced as a World Champion

How I picked Sarah Gant's horsemanship program
Just moved from another competitive show team, needed a new horse, wanted to finish off youth showing and start non-pro. I had competed against her team for years before this.
Horsemanship experience prior to joining Sarah's Equestrian Team
Rode in Bellingham (4H and open), bought Apps and rode with trainer in Oregon, moved our horses to Sarah two years ago.
Why I choose to stay with Sarah's program
I really appreciate Sarah's approachability and relaxing attitude. She treats everyone as equal, very refreshing.
